Betting Rules

These Betting Rules explain the general terms that apply when you place sports and other permitted bets with Sportaza Casino. Please read them together with the applicable Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Responsible Gambling information before using the betting services.

Sportaza operates under a licence issued by the Autonomous Organisation for Financial Affairs (AOFA) in Comoros, reference ALSI-202606064-FI2, and a licence from the New Brunswick Lotteries and Gaming Corporation (TGC), licence number 0000067.

1. General betting conditions

By opening a betting account, placing a bet or using any betting feature, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Betting Rules. The rules apply to all bets placed through the relevant Sportaza Casino website, application or other approved betting channel. 3. Events, markets and settlement

Markets are settled using the official result or other reliable result source relevant to the event. The settlement basis may include the result at the end of normal time, a result after extra time, a result after a tie-break or another stated condition. You should read the market description carefully because similar selections may have different settlement rules.

Unless a market rule says otherwise, later changes to a result, including disciplinary decisions, appeals, statistical revisions or changes made after the relevant event has ended, may not affect settlement. If an official result is unavailable, contradictory or later found to be materially incorrect, Sportaza Casino may review and, where appropriate, adjust the settlement in accordance with the applicable rules.

Abandoned, postponed or rescheduled events

A market may be void or remain open when an event is abandoned, postponed, interrupted or rescheduled. The outcome depends on the sport, market and the specific rules shown for that bet. Some markets may be settled if enough of the event has taken place to determine the outcome, while others may require the event to be completed within an applicable period.

If an event is moved to a different date, venue, competition stage or format, bets may be treated according to the relevant market rules. If the change is material, affected bets may be cancelled or voided. A bet will not normally be voided merely because an event is delayed for a short period where the applicable market rules provide for it to continue.

Participants and non-runners

Rules may apply when a player, team, competitor or other participant withdraws, does not start or is replaced. The treatment of a non-runner can vary by sport and market. For example, a bet may be void, reduced, settled against the remaining participants or handled under a specific named-participant rule. The market information available when the bet is placed should be checked before confirmation.

4. Bet types, multiples and returns

Single bets are placed on one selection. Multiple or combination bets include more than one selection and may require all, or a stated number, of the selections to be successful. If one selection is void, the effect on the multiple depends on the type of bet and the applicable market rules. Each selection should be reviewed carefully before the bet is confirmed.

The potential return shown on the betting interface is an estimate based on the accepted stake and odds. It may not include every adjustment that can apply to a particular bet type. Returns are calculated according to the accepted odds, the result of each selection, any void selections and the relevant settlement rules. A losing bet does not create a credit or refund unless the applicable terms expressly provide for one.

Those conditions can specify eligible markets, minimum odds, expiry periods, stake treatment, maximum returns and withdrawal requirements. Check whether a bet is a single, multiple, system or other available bet type.
Confirm whether the displayed return includes the stake or represents profit only.
Review any applicable market, promotion or cash-out conditions.
Do not assume that a void selection has the same effect on every type of bet.
Keep a record of accepted bets and settlement information for your own reference.

5. Technical issues, disputes and responsible betting

Sportaza Casino aims to provide an accurate and reliable betting service, but technical interruptions, communication failures, display errors or other system issues may occur. If a technical issue affects a bet, the account record and relevant transaction data will be reviewed. Where a bet cannot be verified as accepted, it may be treated as not placed. Where a confirmed bet is affected by an error, it may be corrected or cancelled in accordance with the applicable terms and law.

If you believe that a bet has been recorded, settled or displayed incorrectly, review the transaction in your account and raise the matter through the available support channel. Include enough information to identify the event, market, selection, approximate time and transaction. You may also request account restrictions or self-exclusion in accordance with the available responsible gambling process.
